My Busy Weekend!

Well I am very glad that it is over but it was sure fun!!! Some girlfriends were in town and we had a blast! We did a lot in three days but it was worth it. Friday we shopped and shopped and did i mention we SHOPPED! Its so much more fun go shopping with the girls than by yourself. Plus we found great baragins. i mean Aldo shoes for $7 — thats a steal!

Then if we werent crazy enough, we stood inline at the TCKTS place in Times Square to get discount tickets for a boradway show. We saw Swwet Charity. Whne we orginally priced these tickets, they were $100. We got them for $50 and they were orchestra seats. I was quite pleased and throughly enjoyed the show. In fact, I was so wowed by it that I bought the CD and the poster thingy.

Christina Applegate — who knew Kelly Bundy could sing! This play was awesome and she does a fan-tab-ulous job in it!! Hence why I bought so much stuff! LOL. My friends and I even decided to wait outside to get her autograph and take pics. Here’s where it all goes South….we were one of the first people out of the theatre because our seats were right there, so we were first in line by the backstage door. The body guard comes out and says “Ms. Applegate will be out shortly. Please form a line. She will sign autographs and pictures, etc. You will be allowed to take pictures, however, Ms. Applegate will not pose for any pictures. Anyone causing a problem, will be escorted away.” well that should have been our clue that this was going to be interesting.

So “Ms. Applegate” comes out and she is in a foul mood! she looked like she would rather be having a root canal than having to deal with her public. She could barely say two words to people who were complimenting her. I told her how I liked the show and how good she was in it. I got a half assed smile and a Thanks! Like she could have cared less. Then there was this Asian man who was video taping his 9 year old daughter getting an autograph and they made him turn it off. Im sorry Mr. Security man did not say no videotaping allowed! Im sorry her people were very rude to this gentlemen.

I think was disappointed me the most is that I had no idea Christina Applegate was such a B#$CH and I had enjoyed the show so much that she brought it down! Well Ms. Applegate, I will say this…thank you for giving me the foresight now to never watch anything you do again. I dont care if it is the best darn thing ever made, you will not sell me on it for the simple reason that you do not have good manners or enough sense to be polite to your public. Remember, the public supports you sweetie!! Your behavior was despicable.

So if anyone wants to see a good show — go see sweet charity. i would suggest waiting until Ms. Applegate vacates the role. however, if you cant wait that long, just dont go to the stage door for an interaction or autographs.

Saturday we did some touristy stuff around the city, nothing major. We were saving our energy for the night club we went to on Saturday. It is called LQ. It was a fun place. drinks a lil pricey but its NY! The important thing was having fun with my GF’s and dancing the night away. Which we did!!

Sunday was recovery day. sort of…LOL. we slept in and did as little as possible, however we decided to venture to Central park. Which is not a bad idea and it is a great place to hang out, however, not the place i would suggest when you are hungover and its 900 degrees. It wasnt really 900 degrees but it was 90+ degrees and the humidity was just awful. Even the ducks were HOT!! We walked around a little bit but then headed back to midtown. We went our seperate ways and returned home!

It was a fun busy weekend and I was so glad to see my friends….I just wish I could recover now from sleep deprivation!! LOL
